Time Travel: A Paranormal Phenomena or a Reality?

Time Travel has been one of the most exciting topics for the Science Fiction movies since decades. In such movies we see that people sit in some sort of vehicles and they travel into time and reach to the past or future, full of adventures. But is this really possible? Can we travel into time? According to most of the scientists it is not possible with the best of physics or technological knowledge but some still believe that is possible. 

What is time? According to Einstein's Theory of relativity time is relative, it is an illusion, it can vary for different observers depending on their speed through space and not constant as it is believed by many of us. Einstein theory of special relativity says that time slows or speeds up depending on how fast or slow we move relative to something else. This theory also explains the Twin Paradox, that says if one of the twins travels through space with the speed of light while the other twin being on earth, then the one who traveled space will age much slower than the one who is on earth.

There are many so called proofs of time travel that are really shocking and exciting. Let's see few of them:

1. Philadelphia Experiment: 

Philadelphia experiment was a military experiment performed by the US military in the oceanic area of Philadelphia.on 18 October 1943. It is one of the most shocking and real incidents of time travel, because a fighter ship of US Navy USS Eldridge DE-173 suddenly disappeared from its place and at the same time this ship was seen in the oceans of Norfolk Virginia. This experiment was performed to hide the fighter ship from the radar of enemies, but the side effects of this experiment led to the time travel of the fighter ship. And the most shocking part of this experiment is that, the people who were in the ship were found with their body parts stuck into the ship and some of them even disappeared. 

2. Flight into the Future:

This is an experiment performed by the Air Marshal Sir Victor Goddard in 1935. He experimented on his plane Hawker Hart, while travelling to his country from Scotland he decided to change his air path and go through a complete new path which was an airway shut down due to some reasons, closer to Edinburgh City.  On his way he encountered a heavy storm and had to land up his plane to the shut down airways, and what he saw there was quite shocking. He saw that the airway was completely functioning and it had 4 highly sophisticated yellow colored planes and all the staffs and the workers were all dressed in blue. Victor got scared and he flew back the plane without waiting there for a single minute. 4 years later he was called at the same airways for some experiment, and he found that all the staff were dressed in blue as it was their new uniform, he also found those 4 yellow planes which he had already seen that day. 

3. Time Traveler in Charlie Chaplin Movie:

During the premiere of Charlie Chaplin's movie in 1928, a woman was recorded talking on a cellphone by a film maker. The film maker showed the video to many people and asked them to identify the woman but none identified her. Cellphone was invented in 1979, then how could it be possible that the woman in the clip was using a cellphone. It has been believed that the woman could be a time traveler and had traveled in past, but its still a controversy. 

 There are so many controversial evidences of time travel on the internet like the Chinese Swiss watch found by archaeologists in 2008, the Adidas shoes mummy, the Hipster and many more. It is up to us how we perceive these paranormal theories. However scientists believe that time travel into the future can be possible but time travel into the past can be very very confusing as it can lead to many paradoxes like the Grandfather Paradox. According to the grandfather paradox, grandfather is born, then our father is born and then you are born, what if you create a time machine and time travel into the past and kill your grandfather. In this case there will be no grandfather, no father, no you and no time machine, then how could you time travel and kill him. There are mysteries beyond our best understandings of astrology and physics.and lets see what our future withholds for us.
